Clarkii clowns

I am thinking about trying my hand at a pair of clarkii clowns. My main consideration is that they take to an anemone. What is the best anemone for them ( I was leaning towards getting a bubble tip and a long tenticled anemone, just to be safe assumming that they'd pick one or the other or maybe both), and by this I mean the anemone that they'll more likely go right to when they're put together in the same tank? And I have a second question, these fish are supposed to be semi-aggressive, would they most likely get along with a bicolor blenny, yellow-tailed damsel, and mandarin? I know that both of these questions do not have definite answers because of individual fish personalities and other factors, but I would truely appreciate any input that you have.

Thanks
Jesse

As far as a host anemone, all I can say is that there are many reasons not to get an anemone. Run a search and you will find the reasons, and some of the other options to try (frogspawn, some mushroom, etc.)

I had a Clarkii in my 55 FOWLR. He got along fine with everyone except a Percula I added later. The yellow tail and the clarkii never argued over territory. The Clarkii is aggressive, especially toward other clowns, but they are also very active (at least the one I had was).

Just my .02.

In a "taking to anemones" competition, Clarkii's would take the cake. I believe they host with more different anemonies than any other. I am a fan of the LTA and would say go with one of those and feed it well, and add MH lighting. Clarkiis get pretty big and would need a big anni, well I'm here to tell ya' - LTA's get BIG! good luck!

LTAs and BTAs are really good anemones for clarkiis, but they will take just about anything. i had a pair of clarkiis until one committed suicide, so now i have a large clarkii and a large maroon clown and two BTAs. there is a small amount of territorial bickering, but each usually doesn't stray too far from their anemone. anyway, hope this helps
