That sounds like fairly typical behaviour for clowns, they often act freaky for a few days till they start to feel more comfy in their new home. Hard telling if they will host the LTA or not, clowns have certain anemones that they normally host in the wild, some never adapt of seem to need to host while others will try to host with anything, only time will tell.

You mentioned these are the first 3 fish in the tank, how long has it been setup, what size?
I am concerned that adding 3 fish at once may cause a slight ammonia spike while the biofilter ramps up to meet the new load. Clowns are not nearly as tolerent of ammonia/nitrite as the much tougher damsel fish

Amphiprion clarkii is one of the least picky clownfish when it comes to host anemones. They will readily accept 10 different kinds. They are Cryptodendrum adhaesium, BTA, heteractis aurora, crispa, magnifica and malu, marcodactyla doreensis (Long Tentacled Anemone), stichodachtyla haddoni and mertensi.

I got this from "anemone Fishes and Their Host Anemones" by Daphne Fautin & Gerald Allen.

In theory, yes. Clowfish have the ability to change from male to female. The bigger fish is usually the female. So you should have 1 male and 1 female, and they should feel fine sharing the anemone. You may not see a size difference yet, but eventually, you probably will. If the female dies or is removed, the small male will become a female and grow big.
