Clam question

hey all, was wanting to get a clam for my new 55. However, I know a lot of them can get to over 12". I was wondering if there are any that stay smaller that would be better suited for this aquarium?

depending on your lighting you can get a crocea and place it close to the surface, But they are the hardest clam to keep max size acc. to "giant clams" Daniel Knop is 13- 15cm T. Squamosa 30-40cm T.Maxima 30-40cm T.Derasa 50-60 cm so as you can see the crocea stays the smallest but you could also get a smaller one of the other species and sell it once it gets too big
