clam placement question with a pic....

I just moved my crocea clam up onto a rock, and now he's leaning over, is he ok like this or do I need to find a new place for him on a different rock? Sorry the pic is kinda fuzzy.
Also I'd like any input that anyone could give me on my set up so far since this is my first. Thanks.

I think he will sit the way he wants, I put the standing up and they adjust themselves the way they like, What size is your tank and light do You have?

It looks nice, But if that is the suface og the tank I am seeing, You need to break it up with water movement and surface skimming. It looks very still and filmy

That may be PVC pipe I'm seeing and not the surface of the water

tell us more about the tank.

clams will change thier orientation depending on the light source and the flow in the tank.

The tank is a 30g cube, with 30 lbs LR and 30 lbs dead rock. Yea sorry about it being filthy, I just saw this right when i got home and took a pic of it so I hadn't squeeged the glass. As far as the surface skimming, what do I need to do for that? It kind of cycles back and forth I think they are brown diatoms blooming and disappearing from week to week.
I have a sea clone 150 on it, but it doesn't skim very well, i have to tweek it about twice a week, and I also have a rena canister filter running too. There's once powerhead (can't remember the strength) behind my xenia.

For lighting I have a 175w MH with 2 24w PC's, um I can't think of what else to tell ya, but yea that surface skimming thing I need to work on, what should I do?

I found that if I place the rock that I want my clam to attach to on the sandbed and place the clam on it supported by the glass or another rock to sit upright for a day or two so it has time to attach that it will sit more upright when I place that rock + clam back on the reef
