actually i bought a oceanic 120g tech tank yesterday. i couldnt refuse the deal. the tank is normally 800 but a customer brought it back without even using it because they wanted the silver trim insteed of the black. So anyway i got it for 300 because it was technically used. cant use it until we move into a a house next year. dont have a calc. reactor and hopefully wont need one for a while. i use red sea pro salt which keeps my calc. at 450ppm. I will be testing every few days to see what happens.

He looks fine and should do well... but as others have implied make sure to monitor your alkalinity and calcium levels. Those clams can easily outgrow the 24 (even in a year), and as it gets bigger its consumption of calc/alk will be quite a demand on such a small tank. Good luck!
