VERY high lighting, moderate to strong flow, and a bit of phyto now and then..

The hardest thing about caring for x-mas tree worms is keeping the porites alive, thats the sps coral that they live in. IU dont think its too terribly difficult but i do think that MH lighting is a prerequisite generally speaking

There you have it..........
i tried keeping one before i had MH and failed and receivd another one that was delayed in shipping and was DOA..the worms lived for a few months and then kind of slowly disappeared

Bill, I need to take another picture so that you can see how much more of the rock, the Porrite has covered. See the hole where the crab is? It's totally covered over and the crab has relocated to the top.

i may try one of those again. i tried several years ago. this was actually before people knew that the key was the Porities. of course they died, no matter what i tried.
