Beautiful setup! Good job! Thanks for sharing! I think it looks pretty good with that amount of live rock actually but I understand if you want to go higher.

nice work on the setup, makes me itch for the rebuild i wanna do. but, momma says no on the 150 until we get to next spring, so i'll live vicariously through your journey...thx for the pics, looking forward to the watching the build out

thanks everyone i been itching to set this up for quite awhile
i like the rock but just want to add a little more on the left side to build it up some, i want to try and create an overhang on the right side.

for now in a couple months it won't look like that. tony while i have you do you have any thoughts on how to quiet down the return pump. it is a panworld pump and by far the quietest pump i ever had but in the cabinet it always seems to create alot more noise then it should i can even hear it vibrate in to my garage, i tryed using a foam rubber it helped but not as much as i would like. any thoughts?

the problem is how it is attached to the sump...You are going to want to use some of that black flexible (maybe available in clear) hose from the LFS, and a few mousepads under the pump.

thanks tony i was just thinking that i could feel the vibration through the sump, yep already have a foam rubber under the pump.

I can not tell is your tank drilled ? If not can you tell me a little how you have your plumbing set up,maybe some pics and such..Thanks

tank is already drilled with a corner overflow. you can see the overflow in the left corner.
