choco star fish


quick question: are chocolate starfish reet-safe? I have been getting many varied awnsers.

as far as i know, they like to eat corals.... so my guess is no

i had one with:

1 6-line wrasse
1 perc. clown
1 scissortail goby
1 arrow crab
1 decorator crab
1 long spinny sea urchin
1 peppermint shrimp
1 emerald crab

in a 20 gallon

mine is fine with fish shrimp and crabs too. I want to get my clowns a BTA but don't want the star to eat it.

Chocolate Chip Sea Stars are quite hardy. However, they are not considered to be reef safe since they tend to eat corals, clams, and oysters.including soft corals, clams, and snails kept in the aquarium with them.
