Since anemones require an established tank with exceptional stability, why not give it some time? What I'm thinking is that you wait this summer out, and see if you really need a chiller. That way, if you're still set on an anemone (which I would sincerely warn you away from), you'll be a little more seasoned, and be able to at least give one a fighting chance.
I know that there are major temp swings in Michigan, but they can't be any worse than the swings on the plains of Kansas, or anywhere else. We found that we didn't need one, and easily maintain temps in the 80-84 ranges with fans installed in the hood. (And we have 3 250W MH bulbs on the tank.) I'd also do more research on anemones, as the majority are kept in reefs at those temps.
My 2c,
Danielle
