Cheap frags
Where is everyone purchasing their frags (at a good price)? I don't have a local reef club and have had little luck on line. I bought two small frags online a while ago, and lost one in the tank about two months ago. My daughter spotted it this weekend, and its still alive, I'm thrilled, its a neon/rainbow colored ricordia, my most beautiful coral. I missed it. Anyways, always looking for a fresh resource. Please share.....

Put up a post on TCMAS that you are looking for frags, and then plan a weekend trip to the twin cities... I am sure it would be worth the drive!!!! If you can, plan it around a meeting, you will get whatever from the people who answered your post, and there are always frags of really cool stuff at the meetings ranging from 5-20 bucks.

They were small. 2-3 inches. But as healthy and full depending on choices. You can get larger sizes too but thats of course another package.
I was definitely happy though and that was the first time i had ever been to their site. I assure you im not getting anything out of plugging them but they have the best coral for sale website ive seen, and they live up to their claims.

I live in Novi...There's a store in west bloomfield called the fish guy they have a 350g tank pretty much dedicated to frag and they're either 12 dollars pretty good sized and it's 10 for 100. I know that's a little bit of a hike for you but you should for sure check out the local reef board
http://www.michiganreefers.com/modules.php?name=Jig
There's a frag swap every month or two and people are ALWAYS selling frags in the "for sale" section. I'd offer you some frags if we had any
but check the board out....in the vendor forum there's a huge list of LFS and reviews on them also.

I check out www.frags.org a lot. I haven't bought anything but it seems like a cool site for people to sell their frags. It's sponsered by Kent Marine
