change filters?


well i have a penguin 125 on my 20g and i have a penguin 150 sitting in a box in my fish room would it be ok to change it out? or would there be a problem with the lose of the bac in the filter.

what kind of tank is this on? fish only or a reef? have you checked your nitrate levels lately?

most people do not recommend power filters for SW systems due to the fact they can raise nutrient levels and cause algae outbreaks.

is a 20g hex but i only have room for one filter at a time on and is FOWLR

On a FOWLR I would change the filters straight out.
