Champion Lighting purchase

Hey folks, guess I should asked this question prior to making a purchase!! I bought a MH/PC set up from them and feel I might be getting the run-around from them. About 2 weeks ago I made the purchase. I never got an email with a shipping confirmation and tracking number, but received an email stating my order was received and being processed and should be receiving an email regarding when it was shipped and a tracking number. I never did receive one so I called and asked about the status of my order. The guy told me my order was shipped today (19 Aug) directly from the manufacturer and they could not provide him a tracking number. I not saying they are trying to screw me but I'm just a little weary about it. I guess I'll wait and frind out if it comes!! I did see that Champion charged my credit card prior to when they said it shipped out, which I also find a little unusual. Anyone have any purchases with this company?

We have not ordered from them before but I have not heard any bad things about them. I would not be too worried at least for a few days. HTH

Hope it all works out for you I have never heard anything bad either nor used them myself.

Mind if I ask what kind of combo you gotand how much and if it was a retro kit or full blown fixture?

I am just curious I just picked up a MH PC retro kit myself From Marine depot and I am very pleased with them and the kit

I have ordered a few things from Champion and have not had any problems. It is not uncommon for some of the more expensive items to be shipped directly from the manufacturer regardless of who you buy it from.

Using a credit card to make purchases gives you a level of protection. If the seller never shipped the item you could dispute the charge and have it removed. I'm not saying that Champion would ever do that but you can rest easy knowing that.

I bought a 36" aluminum hood with one 400W 10000K USHIO MH LAMP and two PC acentic (sp?) lamps. Paid $614.90 plus $40.00 shipping.

I had got a retro kit with 2x175 watt 12,000k and 2x96 watt BLue Attinic PC's for $478 and $0 shipping.

this thing was great fully assembled all I had to do was mount it into my canopy and plug it in it rocks I hope you are as hapy with yours as I am with mine
