very cool.

seeing tentacles is a HUGE thing with these guys. Ive lost a few of them and every time I never saw any tentacles towards the end.

trying to spray it with a touch of mush when its tentacles are out wouldnt hurt anything

good luck and keep us posted

Okee dokee on the mush!

I also saw a reason for some stress when I moved it, the back of the skeleton has a crack in it. Hopefully it can recover and grow back together solidly

Joanne, if you have MH above them, they will suffer greatly. Move them into indirect light in a loction where they can get either reflected light off the glass under an overhang or light filterd by other coral growing over the Chalice. They are nocturnal feeders, and will extend their tentacles after the lights go out (time to feed them) or occasionally as a response to chumming the water during the day. If you decide to feed them, it's best to do so about 20 minutes after the lights go out or in the morning about half an hour before the lights come on. Use some mysiid shrimp and place a weighted empty plastic fruit basket over the specimen (to keep the other critters in the tank from stealing the food) and use a turkey baster to squirt a little thawed shrimp on them. They are usually slow to feed, so you won't need to use much. If you feed during the day or just after light out, it helps to "chum" the waters prior to feeding to stimulate the feeding response.
