I hope there is no water in the tank!!!!
If there is drain it ASAP!

not sure but you could get a strip if acrylic the same width and drill 2 or 3 holes on each side of the crack then use stainless nuts and bolts. It wouldn't hurt to use some 2 part epoxy in between for added strength.

You can also buy the trim piece from the manufacturer. Just cut out the silicone holding the old one on, clean up the top and then resilicone a new one in it's place. I have never done it personally but hear it is very easy and cheap too!

There is a guy who got a piece of lexan polycarbonite at HD and glued it underneath then put some nylon srews in it let it sit for a couple days then just cut away the old support. I thought about doing it on my tank but mine isn't broke and im a little scared.. but you have nothing to lose at this point.

Do a search for center support or center brace and you will find a better decription of what this guy did.

Good Luck to ya!

I have had that happen and never had a problem. I had a 150 that had the entire center brace broken out of it, and it was set up for over a year with no problems at all

I think you can buy some acrylic and cut it to fit and drill some holes and screw it in like mentioned above. use plastic screws or seal the metal ones up with something so they don't rust

no there is no water in the tank. I think what i am gonna do is use jb weld on the crack in the brace, then right under the brace cut a piece of acrylic and jb weld that right to the brace and also the glass of the tank

I had a similar problem... i cut the whole thing out and siliconed a piece of thick glass in, then i drilled into the frame and reenforced it with a metal hangar that i bent into place.

the hangar rusted slowly and only needed to be replaced once a year. I screwed 3 2x4's together to create a temp brace to hold the tank together with water prior to changing the wire...
