Caught in the act!

I witnesses what I think was some kind of mating ritual by my snails. One was on top of the other and the one on top would shoot out a burst of sperm. It was then blown around the tank, so I dont think they were succesful. It happened about 5 or six time from ehat I saw. Am I right was this mating?

Neat photo! When my snails have spawned, the sperm looks more like smoke wafting through the water. Yours looks like particles. My guess is that they were spawning too. Sure sign that they are happy in the environment you have created and nurtured. Congratulations!
