Caught at Last!!!!!
Hhhhhhhoooooaaaaaa!!!!!!!
After many different approaches and attempts, I finally caught that #$@^%#$# blue damsel this evening. It involved not feeding all day, a darkened house, net in one hand and some flake food pinched between two fingers and a red flashlight in the other, standing on one foot while the other had my big toe on the tank light switch. As he rose to the food, I flipped off the light and plunged the net into the tank as I turned on the redlight to adjust my aim. First Try!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guilty as charged.
Harassed to death: 2 firefish, 1 rainfordi goby, 1 sailfin blenny,
buried a pocillipora frag
major sand pits which undermined shroom rock, crushing 2.
buried Fungia several times
had to constantly blow off brain coral with baster to prevent damage. constantly putting head against rock to brace himself for sandstorms, killed fluorescent green zoanthids.
Anybody got anything to contribute from THEIR favorite fish to hate?

Congratulations on the capture!!! That shot of you making the grab is a classic!!!
This thread ought to be required reading for everyone contemplating setting up a reef; before they go to the LFS who will tell them: "Use some Damsels to cycle the tank"!!!
Now, you can have peace and tranquility on the reef!!

Ya'll didn't know that reef keeping involved perfecting martial arts techniques now when you can tell specific gravity and calcium level by taste and nitrate level by smell, and catch the ****sel with a pair of chopsticks while blindfolded then young yard hopper you will earn your red sash and can leave the monastery. Oh yah you get to hold a basketball sized frag of fire coral between your forearms and walk across a pool filled with southdown without disturbing the DSB

I'll try that Doug!
Howabout you supply the fire coral and the southdown, only three catches, I get full arm gloves, get to put a plank across the pool, and get to keep the coral and the southdown, only you get to put the southdown in the new tank that your getting me! Sound like a deal?
