Carnivorous Lawn Mower Blenny

Now that my blenny has eaten much of the algae al of a sudden he seems to have a voracious appetite for frozen food. Added some blood worms to the diet today and he decided to get into the action so I guess they are not entirely herbivours then.

He also has gained some courage in and about the tank now instead of hiding all the time.

I have a similar blenny. Don't worry though he will do no harm. Mine still eats algae, but when he gets a chance to have some brine he takes it.

Getting your lawnmower to eat prepared foods is ALL GOOD, in my book!

i had a 4" LMB show up as a rare hitchhiker about 6 weeks ago and he eats pretty much anything. In fact, i swear he is a little peeved with a dirty look on his face as he violently snips at algae, looking at me in between chomps as if saying, "ya jerk, fed me something GOOD".
