Question

captive bread fish

I have found all kinds of captive bread clownfish (and some gobies). I would like to find other species (grammas, etc). How do I get in touch with people that breed saltwater fish for sale? Anyone know? Is there a web page of hobbyist breeders that sell their fry?

Thanks,
Joel

You can ask your LFS to buy from Oceans,Reefs and Aquariums: http://www.orafarm.com/ or Mangrove Tropicals: http://www.mangrovetropicals.com

These are both AMDA members, and I believe they both (if not both, one does!) carry various pesudochromis.

It makes me happy to see people interested in tank bred/raised fish, unfortunately it can be hard to find that specific fish you are looking for sometimes. Nevertheless, check out these links:
· Oceans Reefs and Aquariums inc., Source for tank-raised/bred fish http://www.orafarm.com/
· Premium Aquatics, Source for tank-raised/bred fish http://www.premiumaquatics.com/
· ETropicals, Source for tank-raised/bred fish http://www.etropicals.com/

I don't mean to plug myself (well, ok that's exactly what I mean to do) but when the new TRT pages are up you may want to check out my article, it is written on exactly this topic. HTH

Joel,
Check out The Breeder's Registry site; there is a lot of good leads to captive bred/raised sources:
