Cant keep a fish alive!!!

Hey guys

I just upgraded my tank from a 75 gallon tank to a 125. I have about 100lb of live rock (the reason for the upgrade). I have it set up for about 2 months, but I cannot keep a fish alive in the tank. I have one fish left over from the move and I have lost 5 new fish from different fish stores in the last month. Has anyone else had this problem

Welcome to TRT!

We need more tank info, water test results and anything that may have to do with it.

You really need more info than that. As ski1297 said, what do you test for and what are the results? How quickly do the fish die? How do they die(slowly, quickly, labored breathing, white spots etc...)? Also, did you cure the live rock? How long was the rock in the tank before you began to add fish?

My rock is about 3 years old. I have been doing this for a while. The fish would die in less then 2 days. 3 six line wrasses and 2 watchman gobies. They were all added at different times.

You need to buy your own test kits so you can tell us exactly what the results are I dont trust the LFS near you.

My wife loves to spray air freshner around the house I have asked her not to spay around the tank but I think she did. Is there any way to first check if that could be the problem and then is there any way to fix the problem

All you can do is run some carbon and do water changes and tell her not to ever do that again.

The only thing weird is that my royal gramma is still alive. I have lost 7-8 fish in the past 4 months and it is the only one left. It's not breathing hard or have any signs of wear and tear

Well, my first thought is if the Royal Gramma dies, do not get anymore fish for awhile. Hopefully, what ever is killing your fish will not survive if it has nothing left to kill.
