Candy Coral Help

Back in January I got some candy coral, bright green LPS, looks just like trumpet coral to me. Slowly, cyanobacteria crept up the skeleton and the green tissue began to shrivel. Over time, the green coral tissues came off of the skeleton in whole pieces. Now, they have all come off the skeleton. Here is my question: The green tissue is still brightly colored, even after as much as 1 1/2 months after seperation from the skeleton. Is it still alive? Is it salvagable? What should I do, or not do?

So the whole polyp heads have come loose from the skeleton and are just sitting on the sandbed?

I had one come loose one time that I stuck in a hole in the rocks. It seemed to be doing fine up until it disappeared.

Yes, the whole polyp heads have come loose and are sitting on the sandbed. Is this a job for reef epoxy?

Either that or super glue...it's worth a shot!

How's the cyano now; under control?
