can i use this paint


hey guys,
you know the small bottles of acrylic paint they sell in the craft section...

Can I use that to paint the back of my tank? I am aweful at spraypainting and quiet frankly- too lazy to take it outside...

so can i huh?!

Should be fine, no nasty fumes like spray paint, let it dry well first, and wash the back will then go over it with the really strong Isopropyl achohol, 70%+ not cheapy rubbing alcohol

It takes oils and such off the glass and make sure the paint sticks.

I use outdoor paint to do mine,... something oil based and water proof, other than that I don't worry much about the brand or type.

Oh,... btw, Your going to need to do a couple of coats, your also going to need more paint than you think, so it might be better to drop by your local HD and get something there based on how expensive those tiny bottles of model paint are.

so wipe the glass with the alcohol
let it dry
paint

the crafters paint is only like 50 cents a bottle
its all purpouse acrylic paint

I thought you were talking about those 1 OZ little testers glass bottles of paint for plastic models.

LOL! I don't drink beer remember, I think that maybe a nice oina colada would be good, but it seems a bit cold for that!
