I would say a small goby would be fine but you are pretty much maxed out on fishes! Trouble with just one more fish can lead to more and then problems begin! HTH Johnny

I never really understood the rule of inch per 2 gallons
i mean my fish will grow and don't plan on breaking out the ruler every now and then to keep my system "ideal". I would be more concerned about the individuals fishes behavior.

I would be more concerned about the sifter star eating any potential scooter dragonette food

Doug is absolutely right, The sand shifting starfish should be removed, and as far as I'm convinced they shouldn't be put in any aquarium. They will destroy all of the beneficial sand bed fauna.
Switch him out for a serpent or brittle star. Not only are they better "cleaners" but much more entertaining and colorful as well.

Jason, I just saw your website, where did you get the clowns? Very awesome coloration on that one with the extra black markings. That is EXACTLY what I'm looking for.
I have a pair of "true" percs right now, but the coloration of the black isn't as deep as yours. Very cool.

I have to agree with Doug, I wouldn't add anything else to your system that will compete with the scooter for it's food source.

Thanks for the info guys.....
The sand sifting star looked kind of boring anyways... I'll take it out and switch to a Serpent...
ProjectReef - I am in Anaheim... (home of Disneyland)
I bought the pair of Percs at Coral Island in Orange. They have tons of mated pair of Clowns....Got mine for $35
Doug - Thank's for the awareness....

Grimmy-
The rule of thumb I recommend for all new reefers is one inch of adult fish per 10 gallons. In other words count that 2" baby tang as at least 6". If you stick to this and choose your fish carefully, overstocking can be avoided. Once the tank has matured (after a year or more) adding a few more small fish will usually not hurt the system.
HTH-
Brooke
