Cabinet/Stand Design

Many thanks for your help with equipment choices for my 160 Gal Marine Aquarium. I am including a JPEG drawing of the cabinet design that I have been working on. I have not seen too much in the way of cabinet DIY in the DIY forum. This cabinet will be free standing and is designed to sit at the back side of a couch. The aquairium will be viewable from both sides. I would appreciate any advice or drawings if any of you have built cabinets for this purpose. The below decks area of this cabinet will be lined with a light colored formica to allow for easy cleaning and good light reflection. All exterior will be African Mahogany hardwood and plywood. All hardware will be SS on the interior and solid brass on the exterior for corosion resistance. Interior of the hood will be reflective surface formica. I would apprciate any ideas and drawings showing hood hinging techniques. You guys have been great!

take a look at Btangs thread " my 105" motorslaves multi threads on his big tank(s), and my thread " tims biggin' tank"
several members have also put pictures of there cabinet in works and finshed including canopies..VWD did a great job on his!
