C-balance ?

I noticed my calcium levels were low (around 300) so I spoke to the guy at the LFS. He advised c-balance and it sounded like a smart idea. I have a 30 gallon tank with a fairly heavy bioload. All my other levels are fine. I started using it per the bottle directions about 2 weeks ago. Still my levels are only about 350 on average and once I got a 400. Id like to get them to 450 any advice?

Check out kalkwasser, it keeps pH stable and alk and calc high.

Search around the forum, there have been some recent posts involving calcium. If you find "pickling lime" in any stores in your area, that can be used the same way kalkwasser can, chemically identical, calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)₂.

Should I stop using the c-balance or use both?
