my oyster that i've had for over a year has died. i didn't notice it until yesterday, by then it was too late, its mantle had receeded deep into its shell. i now see some stress in a few of my softcorals, and the skimmate seems to have more water than normal. so, i'm going to prepare for a large water change in the morning. i think i errored when i transfered him back from the 20gl to 46gl. looking back, i don't remember burping the air out of it. or when i relocated it, i may have placed it in a dead spot in the tank. i have been normally doing 5gl water change either every week or 2. so i don't suspect any water parameters, yet.
