if it was a mixed drink i would be a bit more worried, but a beer, a see through beer at that, i would not worry. the alcohol is the problem component in the beer. in a mixed drink it could be alcohol and sugar. either one could kick up the bacteria to another level in processing. this can lead to problems in the tank.

I lost every fish in a freshwater tank ~10 years ago due to a beer in the tank. I thought it would be funny. I'd suggest a couple of 75% drains but I'm merely a squid when it comes to sw tanks.

Good Luck.

Brent.

The brewmasters from Anhauser Bush, Miller Brewing, Coors and Guiness are at a brew conference in Atlanta, they adjourn for lunch and go to a local Brew pub
The waitress asks for their drink order whereupon the Brewmaster from A-B orders a Bud, The Head of Miller orders a MGD(sorry Kell) and Pete orders a Coors light.
She turns the the head of Guiness who orders a Coke.
The table is Aghast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF are you doing they all gasp
He replies if you arent having beer then I wont either
