Bubbles Bubbles Red Algie Bubbles Bubbles


So ok kids I need help..... I got an 30g Bio cube by Oceanic and lots of red bubble algie... Botryocladia skottsbergii or Red Valonia as some may call it. So I purchased an emerald crab but he eats everything but thea's little red bubbles that are taking over my tank..... any one got some tips? Thank you

If it's the same stuff I had, it can grow past the bubble stagees
but I'd just syphon it out when you do a water change

don't smush them and then suck
pinch them off so the suction will remove them from the tank

I have used emerald crabs in the past to take care of it, They seem to work

The only thing I can think of is injecting fresh water into the bubbles with a small syringe.... any one think that sounds like a good idea?

No, that isnt a good idea. That would be no different than simply breaking them open in the tank. The spores would simply leave the bubbles as you filled them with water.
