Question

BTA Hiding

Hello,

I recently got a BTA from ALVIN. It attached withing 1 hr of placement in the tank and stayed in that spot until last night.

Now it has disappeared.. Im assuming its hiding in the rocks, i cant see it in there. My questions are:

1) is this normal for them to hide?
2) how long do they usually hide?
3) When should I worry and start searching for it be moving rock?

Thanks

Mike

I have had mine for six months and about 3 weeks ago it went into hiding and then just popped up in a different spot, it may be doing a water change (althought that doesn't last very long), it may still "getting the feel" of your tank,

-it won't really do what you want it do, it won't stay put, its going to go where it wants to, I wouldn't worry right now, if you still can't see it in a couple of days then I might worry....

Well, I finally found the BTA, he is back in a cave. Hes probaby been there for about 4 days now. He looks fine as best I can tell. Problem is, I have no way to feed him. Any suggestions?
