Brown Slime Algae

I am getting some brown slime algae and was wondering if there is something that i can do about it. Is there a safe treatment for it with my live rock. none of it is on the rock yet but it is on the bottom. Thanks for the help.

Check out a product called Chemi-Clean. It works very well, but if you still have high levels of phosphates, the cyano will just be back.

If it's a new tank it will go away.It's part of the cycling!

If your tank is cycling then its a good sign. You can leave it there- won't hurt anything.

Yeah i think tank is still somewhat cycling. I had a move recently and upgraded to a 75 gallon with new sand on bottom tried to keep all the rest the same as possible like the bio filtration and some water was transferred.
