Bristle worms


I had a skunk cleaner shrimp die today. I think i saw a worm with one of the shrimp's wiskers pullin or bitting it. Are these worms pest? If so how can i get rid of them.

Bristle worms are not a pest they are actually very beneficial, it was only eating something that would have rotted anyways. Are you sure the shrimp is dead or did it molt?

he was dead, just before he died his heart was pumping really fast. the only thing i did this last week was add another 4 lb live rock.

from my lfs. It was already cured and ready to go. all i did was acclimate it and put it in.

If it wasn't out of water long and it was fully cured, then yeah, that prolly wasn't it.

I agree that bristles are good, too.
