We just put 2 -K 2's in a 30g hex . Very unhappy with the flow . Can you let me know how you like them ?

Not sure I am a good person to give reviews. I don't even know how to "properly" aim powerheads. I now have 4 k4's in my 180g.

Not really sure how good the flow is supposed to be...but it seems fine. I can move the sand 6 feet away with one if I have the flow concentrator on.

That's fine . Just asking . I have a Koralia Nano that I think moves more water than the K-2's . Does the K-4 come with a nozzle for the front ?

Yes. The k4 does come with a small nozzle. I have 2 on, and 2 off for different reasons. Only had them all going for about 2 hours now...but seems to be working ok so far.

Basically "no" movement up top . I thought the thing would be like a blender

Without the concentrator on the ends, those K2's are putting out a wide gentle flow. The eggcrate closest to the power head is probably reflecting a good bit of that as well, so you are not getting the motion you were hoping for. The hex tank may be a little more difficult, but that is a very creative frag rack.
