Brand new construction 65g
I have been asking everyone on The Reef Tank allot of questions about a 65 gallon this and 65g that. So I just finally got one! It's cherry wood and predrilled 65. I need to drill the bottom stand though. Fits perfect in my room. Not many 17 year olds with a reef tank. The whole sump thing is a bit more complicated then I thought it would be. But I'm sure I can figure it out.

Awesome! You have plenty of time ahead of you. Do it right. Here's how:
1. Go slow.
2. Ask for advice about everything.
3. Take all advice with a grain of salt (unless you're talking to a reef god.. aka Tom, Doug, Spanky and only a few others)
4. Save up for good equipment instead of getting what you can afford and might not be great. You want your stuff to be great!
Keep us posted!

Yeah maybe I can explain how I'm having a little trouble setting up the sump. The pump I'm quessing has the clear tubing that goes over the hole of the pump? ok and where I have it predrilled does it matter how big I drill the bottom cabnit? Can I just match the holes with my tank?
Simple no brainer questions I suppose but when you spend lots of money on it you don't want it leaking or to mess up something.

toss up a picture of the pump and the tubing, but it does sound like that is the return tubing.
as far as the bulkheads and cuttingthe cabinet where they are. may sure the cut out is large enough that you can work on it.
if you can toss a frew pictures of the area's that way we can make sure we are on the same page..
