Brain coral
I got a new lighting system and i have 2 50/50 10 watt, 10000k bulbs .....will this be good for a brain coral.

its for a 10 gallon tank it's about 10-12" deep

This is the only 10W 50/50 I know of...is this what you talking about?...I've seen these lit up and they look pretty dim...The last 10G I setup up I used 3 26W bulbs and it was pretty good for LPS/softies...not sure what you can keep under something like this...the PAR will be pretty low as half the light is actinic. You have to look at it as 2 5W 10K's and 2 5W actinics and that's pretty weak IMO.

BTW...are you running these in a standard 10G hood? If so I don't think there is anything on the market that will work well for corals.

yep thats it and mine look cool but they are a little dim but i read a post that with 2 50/50 they would keep most things happy.
