Bottle Feed Sun Polyp Question..

Hello,

I'm going to use a soda bottle to feed my polyp in the tank. But I noticed there are a lot of glue on the bottle. The manufacture used the clue to attach the label to the bottle.

I figure the glue considered chemical and I should remove it before use the bottle for feeding. I've tried to use dish washer detergent to remove the glue, but no luck.

How can I remove all the glues on the bottle?

anyone? Thanks

I am betting that any chemical used to remove the glue will be more harmful then the cured glue itself.

Just wash with a lot of water, or soak for a some time in the bucket or bowl and then - under running water.

Depenfing on the size of bottle, they should be relatively cheap - from 4 per dollar in dollar store to $1 for a big one in the food supermarket. You can find with the label, located lower. I don't think, that glue will be harmful, and the only efficient remover that I know, is Goo Off, is pretty nasty - I wouldn't use it for a tank objetcs.

As I understard, it's quite a piece: vertically oriented oblong shape, with over 50 mouthes, that really need feeding. The photo is in another recent thread by the same author. Glorious - worth the troubles.

Its best to use a Turky Baster, it holds the food in until squeesed onto the polyps, yet small enough to get in there with the polyps & can hold & lock in very small or very large food (plankton up to large brine shrimp)
