I like the yellow eye the best, It looks like a chevon to me and never stoped eating algae. Then the yellow after that. So many cool tangs.

I would start out with a damsel or chromis to start with, they seem to be impossible to kill. Well, not impossible, but you get my drift. You want to start with a really hardy fish, because, as the rest of us did, you are going to make mistakes along the way. Lord knows I made plenty before I actually got "good" at keeping things alive.

I've got my yellow (a grown-up) back in DEC 04 and a blue one in May 05 when it was about 1 and half inch. Nothing went wrong so far. The blue over grows the yellow , but definitely no problems with them. They swim together, eat together and I think could they play together. I feed them pellets;nori; vegies and somtimes shrimp meat (cooked) and frozen bloodworms. It seems they are doing fine in terms of nutritious. One thing to worry about is the blue is getting bigger & bigger everyday. If I don't invest on him I might give it away to some hobbyist or th fish store since they are now in my only 100g (48" x 24" x 24"). Pardon me for my poor English.
Best wishes,

don't start with a damsel!! They are hard to get out and very aggressive. You will rip apart your entire tank trying to get rid of it- save yourself the headache! Also puts the fish under lots of stress if you tank is cycling.
I personally love my blue tang!!

Im not starting with a damsel....
Starting with 2 Perc Clowns and 1 Khalder's Cardinalfish. Then later I'm planning on adding a Yellow Tang (since it was suggested to wait a while before I add the Tang).

Sorry to bring this thread back to the front...but one thing I didnt' see mentioned:
Not only should you wait a while so the tank's stable, as (someone already said), tang's are really sensitive.
But ALSO
Make sure the tang(s) is/are the last fish you add. They can be quite territorial. And if they're put in first, Their territory becomes the whole tank...and they won't share it easily. But if added last, they'll fight for a small piece of territory, and accept that that's what they're getting.
Also, for similar reasons, if you DO decide to go with one of each...add them at the exact same time! Adding one first will create problems for the one added later.
btw...my vote is for the blue (Hippo) tang! Love mine!!!!
