blue tang AND yellow tang

Anyone here keep a blue tang and a yellow tang together? I've heard that tangs aren't usually the best with other tangs but also that it's possible and i just wanted some opinions on the subject because if it works i'd like to keep both a blue and a yellow tang- thanks.

i'm talkin regal tang - i've heard it called a hippo tang, a regal tang, a blue tang, and every combination thereof.

To make things easier i'll give you its 'adored' name among reeftank forums: dory.

I would say it's just a touch too small. Most tangs do best in a 6' tank.

I have both and they are best buddies, they hang together, eat together etc. My tank is 75g but I bought them pretty small(1.5" the blue tang and 2.5" the yellow) I have to admit that I'll have to move the blue tang from the tank someday but I already have a 120g in progress that I'll use for display at my LFS.

Well people may have them and I know from working at a LFS that alot of people keep tangs in smaller tanks, when they are smaller in size. That being said don't make it an ideal setting for them. Can and is done but not ideal. I am in no way 100% againt the idea of a small tang in a smaller tank when it is small , But they will soon grow out of it.

Yeah they're a real nice fish. Very vibrant although I love the very unique design and coloring of the Regal.
