Blue Planet

Did anyone see last nights Blue Planet on Animal Planet? It was the "Coral Seas" episode. WOW! That one really covered alot of the corals and fish we keep in our tanks! It was really cool to see how the fish and corals are in their natural habitat.

I remember seeing the powder blue tangs with the convict tangs. Is that the same video where it shows the parrot fish taking huge chunks out of the rock with their teeth? That was an awesome video. you can rent it anywhere.

My other favorite documentary on reefs is IMAX's Coral Reef Adventure. Absolute beautiful footage in 1080p and very emotional. you follow two veteren divers/scientists/marine biologists into the South Pacific where they reveal the damage to the reefs, some caused by man some not. and they also show unrivalved beauty. They even show a scarlet cleaner shrimp swim into the divers mouth and clean her teeth!!! unbelievable. Worth every penny.
