blue legged crab

Hi

my blue legged crab, which was until recently activley keeping the bottom of my tank free from algie. In the last couple of days it stopped moving and hid in its shell most of the time. I thoought it was dying. When i woke up this morning it had shed its skin and went back into its shell. I have bought a couple of ither shells for it to move into. It still is hidding in its shell and hardly moving. Is it dying? Is there something i need to do?

thanks

I had a couple of guys do that too. They get really wiped out, but in a day or two back to business.
