blue-green chromis with spot

Hi there! I'm brand new to the marine aquarium (started my tank in early November.) Two weeks ago I added 3 little (inch long) blue-green chromis to my 50 gallon tank. There are very active, eat aggreesively and seem happy. Yesterday, while prepping for a 10% water change, I noticed one of the chromis has a gray/tan "patch" on him - upper left side by his back.) I've read so many ich and clownfish disease links that I'm in a real panic. I'm not convinced it's either... but don't want to do "nothing." Water parameters have been excellent. I'm really worried. Any comments would be appreciated. I have a 4 line wrasse that is a bit aggressive and wonder if he may have hurt the chromi?? Paula

that would be a spot where he has been attacked... kinda like a bruise.. the four line has probably had a tiff with him.. or one of the other chromis

Oh my gosh, I hope that's what it is so long as the wrasse backs off. I am so worried about something spreading to my other fish. If it is an injury/bruise, do you know how long it would typically take to look normal again? Thank you!!

i'm not sure how long it will take to heal... i have threee in my tank that i adopted from the local petco (seriously no charge adopted) due to them being bullied by a Fiji Devil... they are bruised and are still hiding in my tank, so hopefully i will see them in a few days

Good luck with that. I'm going to keep a close eye on my little guy. Thanks again!
