Talking

Depends on the stock market

Hopefully I will get the new tank around October... I am really shooting for a 75... since lots say there is much more room in a 75 G than a 55...

The tank will be under $200, I may buy the stand later, not sure on that..

The tang is a juv, no bigger than a quarter. She is just in there temp, then she is going to my 120 gal.

I've had her in there for six months now. Got here when she was very tiny. The tank is not crowded at all.

hmmm... i didn't realize there was a given # of fish per gallon. It all depends on where they stay in the tank, what filtration level is in the tank, how they contribute to the tank, adult size, etc. Three green chromis doesn't equal three tangs, right.

Its not really defined in # of fish because obviously your not going to stick a clown trigger or a volitan lion in a 30 gallon tank, it depends somewhat on inches and the waste the fish produce, like a carnivor will put more stress on a filter system than perhaps a sand siffting gobbie or a vegetarian would, theres no rule really just looking out for fish comfortablillity and keeping a low bio-load in reef

That was my point

A full grown b/g chromis is a very pretty fish... much prettier than the small ones at the LFS IMO.

hehe... sorry... kind of a rhetoric post/question, I guess.

Kinda like... if you are setting up a reef aquarium you should have a DSB??
