blenny wave rider

my lawnmower always goes in my seios when i turn them off. i just bought the brand new ever anticipated seio wavemaker(in my opinion way better than the tunzes) from my lfs(got the last one of twenty they got in).
im concerned taht when i hook up my wavemaker(prolly today) the blenny is gonna go in there and turn into reef blend puree.

I know this is off topic but why do you feel the SEIO controller is better than Tunze?

The seio controler never shuts the pump off, just backs it down to 30% so I don't think you will have a problem.

Please keep us updated on that wave maker, I am dying to find out how it works.

My LMB will try to hang out in my OM 8 way outlets when they slowly come on and off......its pretty funny.......they come on and off variably every 15 seconds and there is no way he could get far enough to get hurt but i think he actually enjoys it becaseu he does it over and over........

it doesnt shut off the pumps completely so it doesnt break the impellers and the seios are better pumps than the tunzes because they have more of a surface area for the intake.
ill keep you posted on how it works! im putting it in right now.

of course the blenny wont be a prollem as whiskey pointed out it doesnt shut off completely. (wish i thought of that)

well on the sieos there is a way the blenny could be injured but as long as i dont use the feeding timer or turn off the pumps ill be ok. but its pretty funny how it only takes a fraction of a second for mr.lawnmower blenny to get in there and satisfy his never ending urge to perch in the funniest ways and funiest position. its like they try to get attention.
