Blender mush!
Since I switched to feeding blender mush, my fish are getting FAT! My Gramma looks like hes going to burst and even my anthias is getting portly! I just get a little bit of this and that from the sea food counter at the store add a few drops of vitamins and some garlic, add a little ro/di and blend it into a chunky mush, place in a freezer bag and brealk off a chumnk at feeding time. They love this stuff!

Sounds awesome Robert, can you give a recipe with specific contents. Also how fine do you blend it?

raw shrimp, tuna, crab, and a little bit of anything fresh they have. First batch had squid in it and that was a stringy mess! I just get little pieces of each, costs about three dollars. I blend it on the "pulse" setting so as not to turn it into liquid. Just small chunks that the fish can handle. I also add a bit of nori in there!'

Every other day or so, no more than that and I put in a little at a time so as not to over run the tank leaving a gob behind.

What is seafood? Can you make mush with potatoes and oatmeat? My neighbor might be able to give me some elk scraps if that is ok.

Perry, I think venison and bear will be better but the bear meat would be a bit greasy and it might take your skimmer a couple of days to get back to normal!

If you use Elk or other wild terrestrial game use a LOT of Selcon
Note to users, if you keep tangs use more nori in the mix and definatly add Selcon
