Black Tang

I have kept an eye on this Black Tang in my LFS the last couple of days. .... the price $125

Anybody have or know much about it? I have looking through out the www and cannot find much info on it.

Try themarinecenter.com...they had several varieties of black tangs on their site last time I looked. You may be able to do more web research at that point.

That's an average price, since the time I have been following them from about a year ago. FFExpress had some for around $250, I think.

I'm waiting on them to see if more does come in. They seem to be seasonal. I hate to see Black Tangs a year from now, selling for $25.

Remember when Bangaii Cardinals were going for around $50 each. Now they are $12.

Should be similar to a sensitive tang as far as husbandry. Don't keep with other zebrasoma. The snout becomes more pronounced in the black tangs. $125 is the cheapest I've ever heard...go for it. Make sure it is eating good..no signs of HLLE, ich , torn fins, etc.

There was a blacklong nosed tang atmy LFS for $310. Tempting, but i would also like to eat this month.

125.00 isn't to bad if you like black tangs that much. Whole sellers are selling them to dealer for over a 100.00
