Black sand

Anyone use the black sand (indo-pacific) or tahitian moon?

I would like to see some pictures of how it looks in a tank if you got any.

The indo-pacific is live (or you can get it live), you can use it to seed the Tahitian correct?

I've seen it, and I thought it looked really cool, but I don't have any pics.

The only problem with using it and it's not even a problem is it's calcite I believe and does nothing to help buffer the water, has no calcium content, but that's easily compensated for.

yea, i had it, but i just switched. as for the buffering capacity, no sand really buffers the ph unless it drops really low, then your in trouble anyway. your live rock will be fine without the sand if you want to use black, here is a shot of tahitian moon.
