Black Perc Missing

One of my blak perculas went missing. Are they known to jump? I just fed them last night and he was there and he was eating. Would he have possibily jumped from the tank. I searched all around the tank and there are no signs. Please help.

Thanks,

One other perc. One leather. Snails and crabs. That is it.

I have a hob power filter, a hob prizm skimmer, a heater, and a 600 maxi jet.

Thats all.

You may have to move some rock around if he has "expired" to find him. Whenever mine die, they go under the rocks. Hope that is not the case!

I have a perc that jumps over into the filter area in my nano. He used to jump into the proteim skimmer when he was in my bug tank.

I use a flash light to peak back there when he is missing.

Well there is no clicking. I did noticed a pile of hermits and snails though. They were eating the body. All that was left was the dorsil fin. I guess I will never know how he died.
