Black Dots on Foxface Rabbit Fish?

Hello,

Last night I noticed that my Foxface Rabbit fish had small 1mm dots peppered over its body. I have had this fish for 2 months with no problems. There is also a Kole Tank, Coral Beauty, and some Green Chromis in this mixed reef tank.

The last fish to be added to the tank was about 1 month ago and the last coral was added about 2 weeks ago.

Is this Black Ich? I have read in other posts about quarantining and treatment. I don't think that I will be able to catch it.

I currently am supplementing food with garlic.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

It may be a parasite, I've heard it called black ich, but I don't think it's very accurate, I have a yellow tang that shows it sometimes (1 a year or so)and in a day or so it's gone, been going on like that for 5+ years so I don't worry about it. I bet it happens to other fish, you just can't see it.

I would just continue with the garlic treatment if the fish is still eating. Quarantining it will just add to the stress.

catching the rabbit fish will be the big problem, but if you can, then I would do a freshwater dip. Make sure that the water is the same PH as the tank water, and that the temp is the same as well. About ten minutes will do it. You can do this once every couple of days if you can work out a system of catching him.
