Yes. Wait until after the diatom bloom at least. Start logging your water parameters and testing it at least weekly. When you see the nitrates start climbing, you should see a diatom bloom shortly after that. Looks like dust all over the place. Its part of the cycle. At a minimum wait for the diatom bloom but then you should be coral safe as long as your nitrates stay under 20 ppm or so. High nitrates can be deadly to some corals so you have to watch them.

I measered it last time, it was really low. Not as high as I expected!!
