BIG mistake
I was carrying about 12 gallons of fresh salt water for a water change up my stairs to the tank just now. My Brother had one end and I had the other. There was a tiny puddle of water on the stairs and I lost my balance and went head first donw the stairs, twiosting my leg, and land smack on the wet concrete below. Then a wave of 12 gallons of water came at me and floodded the whole capret of the basement again.
I got hurt really bad. I think Im goona drive over to the emergency room or doctor because My legs is in alot of pain. Then I have to come home and shop vac up all this water before my dad comes home .

Everything is destroyed down here. Thousands of dollars worth of vintage drums and othr instruments are saturated.

Everything is soaked. Im soaking wet, I can gardly walk on the leg, and im practically dragging myself aroud trying to get all this water up.

Im lucky I did not fry this computer. puddles of water just feet away from my 2000 .oo computer.
Im pretty sure it is severly brused / sprained or a small fracture. I have to wait fro my dad to get home because they have alll the insurance cards right now. Im serious it hurts really bad.
Lesson to be learned: check to see if the stairs are wet before you attempt to carry heavly loads up them

GOOD GRIEF, go to the hospital! I've fallen down stairs before but they weren't wet, I was just clumsy - - let us know!

can you call one of your parents and have them come home or fax the med cards to the hospital? You really shouldn't wait to be looked at. I'm sorry you're hurtin! At least get some ice on that leg to keep the swelling down, ok?

The pain is not just when I move it, just when Im sitting here it aces, I will ice it and see how it is when my da/ mom get here.
So many thoughts racing through my head
Am I going to be Kicked out of the house?
ill they make me get rid of the tank?
Im a nervous wreck.

you can go to the er you will prob be there for awhile. They can meet you there or fax the cards to you then come. The longer you wait to go the more trouble your leg could be in. I wouldnt wait
