bi-valve lifespan
I've seen posts that indicate anenomaes live hundreds of years, how bout molluscs?
A while back I added some LR to my tank. I picked one piece in particular because it had a few largish (1-2 inches) bi-valves embedded in it and I hoped they might still be alive (they are). They are embedded in a 1.5 inch thick piece of rock. So my questions are:
How quickly does reef rock form?
How old can some of these creatures get? Does anyone even know?
