What kind of algae?
My purple tang likes red turf and bubble algaes, and all the green algaes that have tried to pop up in my tank except valonia (green bubble).

I agree here. I just got a yellow and a naso that love the algae only cause the LFS did not feed very well.

My mimic tang does a good job, and the kole tang is a pretty good choice too.

I think most tangs are great algae eaters, it's their primary food in the wild. Yellows can be schizoid though, but they are inexpensive to buy. My sailfin also eats algae constantly as does the naso.

Tomini Tang is smaller than a Kole and is a great grazer, Tomini have a maximum size of about 6" while the Kole is up to 9"
